Aquila Forensics

MIDDLE EASTERN AIRPORT

Comprising several contracts, and complicated and inter-locking claims, our forensic team provided detailed quantum analysis and forensic review to assist in several entwined claim strands.

Our professionals were responsible for the provision of technical and detailed interrogation of multiple heads of claim for Middle eastern arbitration hearings.

PROJECT

Aquila Forensics were engaged to provide formal quantum advice and assistance during a major dispute relating to a new state-of-the-art terminal, incorporating the construction of a new Air Traffic Control tower, the refurbishment of the existing southern runway, the construction of a new northern runway, provision of new cargo, aircraft maintenance and in-flight catering facilities and the construction and development of other aviation services and facilities.

The project was divided into a series of contract packages which had been let independently in order to develop the airport together with 3 Standard Nationwide Contracts. With no single contractor having overall responsibility, Aquila’s experts were engaged to provide quantum advice across several complex and detailed strands during several arbitration hearings.

The airport will have a capacity of 12 million passengers per annum with the potential for up to 48 million, the first stage will cover 580,000 m2 and will feature 118 check-in counters.
