Aquila Forensics’ professionals were responsible for the presentation of a significant quantum and delay claim in relation to substantial areas of UK infrastructure. 

The claim arose from the costs attributable to additional improvement and maintenance of highways which were originally of a lower standard than was detailed within the project’s documentation. 

PROJECT

The project consisted of the maintenance of an area of motorway and trunk-road networks including the supporting infrastructure. The contractor was required to undertake design works and adhere to detailed performance criteria. 

The project was procured and constructed using an Asset Support Contract, based on the NEC. Aquila provided the commercial management team for the contractor, ensuring adherence to strict budgets and reporting procedures.
