Our experts were appointed to assist the local authority in its complex negotiations with a main contractor regarding significant disputes relating to its sub-contractor’s financial liquidity. With the assistance of our advice, the parties were able to successfully avoid formal dispute resolution proceedings. 

PROJECT

The project comprised of the regeneration of a derelict site, with the overall project providing nearly 150 homes, a new church, a specialist hospital and large public spaces, Aquila Forensics was required to assist the employer in its management of significant financial losses as a consequence of a sub-contractor’s liquidation. 

Aquila Forensics was engaged as the quantum expert on a dispute heading toward the TCC. Through the careful and detailed quantum analysis provided, the local borough was able to successfully negotiate the conclusion of a complex dispute involving several parties. 

Located in central London, the project suffered several constraints requiring careful consideration and management.
