MIDDLE EASTERN DEVELOPMENT – Aquila Forensics

MIDDLE EASTERN DEVELOPMENT

Aquila Forensics’ experts were engaged to provide quantum expertise on Arbitration hearing in relation to the construction of an entire infrastructure network for a large middle-eastern city.

PROJECT

Once completed, the city will eventually have a population of up to 260,00 people and was considered one of the most ambitious and ground-breaking construction projects in the world at the time, the development will feature commercial towers, hospitals, ports, two golf courses, five stadiums, a commercial park for energy firms, retail spaces, schools, mosques, medical services, sports, entertainment, public avenues, recreational areas, 22 hotels, cultural centres and shopping centres.

Over 3.7 million cubic metres of material was excavated, over 600,000 cubic metres of concrete was poured and many kilometres of pipework and cabling laid. At the peak of the works, there was a labour force on site of 5,600. with a total length (for the main wet and dry tunnels) of over 15 km. The tunnels themselves were approximately 16m in width. Such significant works were the subject of detailed technical quantum investigations by our experts to assist in a significant arbitration.
